Job Description
Position Summary
As a Certified Traffic Control Flagger, you will be responsible for maintaining safe traffic flow through work zones, protecting workers and the public, and ensuring compliance with all traffic control and safety regulations.
Requirements::
Current Washington State Flagger Certification (Required)
Reliable transportation to various job sites between Tacoma and Seattle
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong communication skills and attention to safety
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work as needed
Required PPE
All flaggers must report to work with the following PPE:
Hard Hat
High-Visibility Safety Vest (ANSI Class 2 or 3)
Safety Glasses
Work Gloves
Steel-Toe or Safety-Toe Boots
Weather-appropriate work clothing
Responsibilities
Direct and control vehicle traffic through construction and work zones
Communicate effectively with crew members and motorists
Follow all traffic control plans and site-specific safety procedures
Maintain a professional attitude and strong safety awareness at all times
Report hazards and unsafe conditions immediately
