Heavy Lifters / Furniture Installation Crew Member – Austin, TX
Pay: Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
HireQuest Direct is seeking dependable and hardworking Heavy Lifters to assist with commercial furniture installations in Austin, TX. This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable performing physically demanding work and working as part of a team to unload, assemble, and place furniture according to project specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
Unload furniture and materials from delivery trucks.
Assemble furniture and equipment using basic hand tools.
Move furniture and materials throughout the job site.
Place and position furniture in designated rooms as directed.
Work closely with crew members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Follow all job site safety procedures and instructions.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and walk for extended periods.
Reliable transportation is preferred.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Previous furniture installation, moving, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
