Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Laborer to assist with the inspection and testing of conveyor belts. This position involves hands-on warehouse work, including operating conveyor equipment, checking belts for proper function, identifying defects, and assisting with general warehouse tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Inspect conveyor belts for defects, damage, or signs of wear.
Test conveyor belts to ensure they operate properly and safely.
Start, stop, and monitor conveyor equipment during testing.
Identify and report issues with belts or equipment to supervisors.
Assist with moving, positioning, and handling conveyor belts and materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines.
Use basic hand tools and warehouse equipment as needed.
Assist coworkers with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or mechanical experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong attention to detail.
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry materials as required.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
Ability to safely work around moving machinery and conveyor equipment.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a warehouse/manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to noise, moving equipment, dust, and varying temperatures. Proper safety equipment and procedures must be followed at all times.
