Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable Semi-Skilled Carpenter to support construction and carpentry projects by assisting with basic woodworking tasks, installations, and repairs. This role is ideal for someone with foundational carpentry experience who is looking to grow their skills while working under the guidance of experienced carpenters or supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials
Install basic structures such as framing, drywall, doors, windows, and cabinetry
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Support senior carpenters with project tasks and site preparation
Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on job sites
Perform minor repairs and adjustments as directed
Follow blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and construction methods
Ability to use common hand and power tools (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs)
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members
Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
Good attention to detail
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous construction or carpentry experience (1–2 years preferred)
Work Environment:
Work performed on construction sites, indoors and outdoors
Exposure to varying weather conditions
Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and climbing
