Job Description
Job Summary:
Movers are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting customers’ belongings from one location to another. This role involves packing, loading, unloading, and sometimes assembling or disassembling furniture while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto trucks
Pack and wrap items to prevent damage during transit
Safely transport belongings to designated locations
Assemble and disassemble furniture as needed
Follow directions from team leaders or supervisors
Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving trucks and equipment
Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times
Handle items with care, including fragile or valuable goods
Adhere to safety guidelines and proper lifting techniques
Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects (often 50–100 lbs or more)
Good physical stamina and endurance
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Basic problem-solving abilities
Reliability and punctuality
Previous moving or warehouse experience preferred but not required
Working Conditions:
Physically demanding work in various weather conditions
Frequent bending, lifting, and standing for long periods
May require weekend or extended hours depending on job schedules
