Furniture Assemblers

Job Summary:
A Furniture Assembler is responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing furniture products according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to use hand and power tools safely, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure products are assembled correctly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble furniture such as desks, tables, chairs, cabinets, shelving units, and other household or office items
Read and follow assembly instructions, blueprints, or diagrams
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Inspect furniture parts for damage or defects before assembly
Ensure finished products meet quality and safety standards
Load, unload, and move furniture materials as needed
Disassemble and reassemble furniture during moves or repairs
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Provide excellent customer service when assembling furniture on-site
Follow company safety policies and procedures
 

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous furniture assembly or general labor experience preferred
Ability to read and understand assembly instructions
Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable transportation and punctuality
 

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture items (50–100 lbs with assistance if needed)
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Working Conditions:
Work may be performed in warehouses, retail stores, customer homes, or office settings
May involve travel to customer locations
Exposure to dust, packaging materials, and moving equipment
