Construction General Laborer – Cleanup
Construction General Laborers are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site. Duties include removing debris and trash, sweeping and cleaning work areas, loading and unloading materials, assisting skilled tradesmen, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored. Workers may perform demolition cleanup, move construction materials, and help prepare work areas for ongoing projects. Some job assignments may require candidates to lift up to 50 lbs.follow safety procedures, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks. Prior construction experience is helpful but not required. A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and clear construction sites of debris, waste, and hazards
Sweep, shovel, and maintain work areas
Load, unload, and move construction materials
Assist carpenters, laborers, and other trades as needed
Follow all job site safety regulations and company policies
Perform general labor duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to safety and teamwork
Construction experience preferred but not required
