Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused General Laborer to work as a Flagger / Traffic Control team member. This position is responsible for directing traffic safely through work zones, protecting crew members, and ensuring compliance with all traffic control regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and control the flow of traffic using signs, flags, and hand signals
Maintain a safe work environment for crew members and the public
Set up and take down traffic control devices (cones, barricades, signage)
Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors
Monitor traffic conditions and adjust control methods as needed
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
Valid Flagger Certification (required)
Reliable transportation to and from job sites (required)
Prior experience in traffic control or general labor preferred
Ability to stand for long periods and work in various weather conditions
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Preferred Background:
Experience working alongside construction crews or law enforcement traffic control (if applicable)
Familiarity with roadway safety regulations
Work Environment:
Outdoor job sites in varying weather conditions
Physically demanding role requiring standing, walking, and lifting
