Job Description
HireQuest Direct is currently hiring experienced Commercial Carpenters for an active commercial construction project in Prattville, Alabama. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable carpenter who take pride in producing quality work and can work safely in a fast-paced jobsite environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform general commercial carpentry duties
Measure, cut, and install building materials accurately Install blocking, backing, and other carpentry components
Read and accurately use a tape measure
Operate a skill saw and other standard carpentry tools safely
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all jobsite safety requirements and work effectively with the construction team
Requirements:
Previous commercial carpentry experience required
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure
Must provide your own basic hand tools and a skill saw
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the day
Must have reliable transportation to the jobsite
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic are required
