Job Description
We are hiring a Perforation Line Operator to set up, operate, and maintain machinery used to produce perforated metal sheets. This role is hands-on and focused on keeping production running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate perforation machines
Load/unload steel coils using an overhead crane
Cut materials using a shear based on blueprints
Use surface grinders to maintain tools and punches
Perform basic machine maintenance and minor repairs
Ensure high-quality, defect-free production
Follow safety guidelines and work schedules
Assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
2–3 years of experience in metal fabrication or machine operation and tooling
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Forklift experience (or willingness to get certified)
Basic computer skills (MS Office)
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or on a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs, occasionally more)
Regular bending, reaching, and handling materials
Must be able to wear PPE (steel-toe boots, hearing protection, etc.)
Work Environment
Manufacturing setting with moderate noise
Hands-on, active work environment
