In this role, you will be responsible for accurately installing metal framing components that form the backbone of commercial and residential structures. Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine framing specifications and layout.
Measure, cut, assemble, and install metal studs, tracks, and framing components with precision using hand tools and power tools.
Erect metal framing structures for walls, ceilings, partitions, and other architectural features on-site.
Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, masons, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of framing work within the overall construction process.
Use heavy equipment operation skills when necessary to support material handling or structural adjustments.
Ensure all framing work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently throughout each shift.
Experience
Proven experience in metal building erection or metal stud framing on commercial or residential projects.
Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry techniques, roofing, siding, stucco, plastering, and remodeling is highly desirable.
Skilled in the use of hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, measuring tapes; proficient with power tools for cutting and fastening materials.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to execute detailed framing plans.
Experience operating heavy equipment or supporting restoration projects is a plus.
Strong knowledge of construction management principles including safety protocols and quality control measures.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring stamina in various weather conditions.
