Job Description
Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded.
Responsible for pulling work instructions for production jobs.
Assist in 5S, continuous improvement and Lean activities proactively and as assigned.
Keeps the flow in the factory clean and smooth by taking on the occasional tasks (tasks that sets vacuum loaders to load the material hoppers)
Sets up weight blenders and material dryers to correct customer product specifications for drying purposes.
Report issues with malfunctioning equipment to Supervisor or Lead to create needed MSO’s.
Drains and cleans hoppers and dryers.
Tears-down, labels, and organizes boxes and components.
Brings rejects to grinding staging area.
Returns work instructions, fixtures, and hand tools to their correct locations.
Pulls fixtures from the fixture racks or from the auxiliary equipment area.
Sets-up all auxiliary equipment needed for the job.
Performs basic preventative maintenance on equipment (i.e.: loader vacuum filters, dryer filters, protable loader filters, etc.)
Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in stockroom, supply rooms, or other areas.
Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Issues or distributes materials, products, parts, and supplies to appropriate departments or individuals, based on information from incoming requisitions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
