Job Description
Ensures company standards for safety, quality and customer satisfaction are met or exceeded.
Issues packaging, labels, inserts, materials, etc. and brings them to presses or staging area.
Returns raw materials and supplies back to inventory, following completion of job.
Label returnable packaging with correct part numbers and quantities.
Tear down and sort returnable packaging as needed.
Remove or cover all old production and shipping labels.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Ensure workbook is correct with quanities and returnable packaging numbers.
Locate different materials, returnable packaging and supplies unloaded onto the dock.
Forklift certified to move production, scrap, etc.
Inspects powered industrial vehicles per check sheets and report issues to leaders to create MSOs.
Operates grinding room when needed.
Cleans and performs basic prevention maintenance on equipment.
Documents preventive maintenance and cleaning and completes repair tickets when necessary.
Determines which non-confirming products can be ground.
Prepare parts for regarding process by safely using band saw and other sharp objects.
Grinds parts and properly labels, weighs, and stores regrind material.
Comply with all extra safety rules for grinding room.
Notify supervisor of unsafe or broken-down equipment for a MSO to be recorded.
Performs all other assignments as required.
