📌 Job Overview
HireQuest is seeking reliable Weed Pickers to support agricultural field operations. This role involves removing unwanted plants and maintaining clean, productive growing areas. Work is performed outdoors and may involve varying weather conditions.
��️ Key Responsibilities
Manually pull or remove weeds from crop rows, fields, or landscaped areas
Walk rows and follow specific instructions for weed removal and field maintenance [seasonaljobs.dol.gov]
Use basic hand tools (e.g., hoes, gloves, small cutters) as needed [ziprecruiter.com]
Identify and separate weeds from desirable plants
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and dispose of plant debris properly
Assist with general field labor tasks such as planting, cleanup, or harvesting support
Follow all safety guidelines and supervisor instructions
✅ Requirements
Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods (bending, kneeling, standing)
Comfortable working outdoors in heat, wind, or varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to follow directions and work independently or in a team

Prior farm, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience
Basic knowledge of plant or weed identification
