Job Description
Position Summary
We are currently seeking dependable and detail-oriented Extrusion Operators to support manufacturing operations for our client partners. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion production equipment while ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and efficient production in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate extrusion production line equipment.
Perform pre-operational checks to ensure equipment readiness.
Accurately complete and submit production and quality records at the end of each shift.
Communicate with supervisors or leads to review daily production goals and responsibilities.
Conduct routine sampling, testing, and documentation to ensure products meet specifications.
Follow cleaning and sanitization procedures for equipment and work areas.
Safely handle and dispose of materials and chemicals as required.
Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout protocols.
Complete required training and qualification tasks for assigned roles.
Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Experience in manufacturing, extrusion, or production environments preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment.
Process improvement mindset is a plus.
Communication Skills
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
Strong listening skills and willingness to follow instructions.
Computer Skills
Basic proficiency with common computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Teamwork
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to assist others and contribute to overall team success.
Problem Solving & Decision Making
Ability to identify issues and take appropriate action or escalate when needed.
Flexibility & Multi-Tasking
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Physical activities may include bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
