Job Description
We are seeking experienced Buckhoist Operators to join our construction labor pool. Buckhoist Operators are responsible for safely operating a construction hoist (temporary elevator) located on the exterior of a building. The hoist is used to transport workers, tools, materials, and equipment between different levels of a construction site.
Responsibilities
Safely operate the buckhoist according to site and manufacturer procedures.
Transport workers, materials, tools, and equipment between floors.
Perform daily safety checks and report any equipment issues.
Follow all construction-site safety rules and procedures.
Communicate effectively with workers, supervisors, and site personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized work area around the hoist.
Follow all posted load limits and operating requirements.
Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
Report unsafe conditions or mechanical problems immediately.
Requirements
Previous buckhoist/hoist operator experience preferred.
Current buckhoist operator certification is a plus.
Construction-site experience preferred.
Must be able to follow safety procedures and instructions.
Must be dependable and punctual.
Ability to work at heights and in an active construction environment.
