Job Description
HireQuest Direct is always hiring Flaggers for ongoing construction, roadwork, and utility projects. We work with local employers who have regular needs, and new Flagger jobs become available throughout the week.
Flaggers are responsible for directing traffic, maintaining safe work zones, and supporting crews on active job sites. Work is typically outdoors and may involve standing for extended periods.
Flagger Job Duties May Include
•Directing traffic using flags, signs, or hand signals
•Following traffic control plans and safety procedures
•Communicating clearly with drivers and crew members
•Monitoring work zones to maintain safety
Requirements
•Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
•Strong attention to safety and instructions
•Reliable attendance and punctuality
•Ability to stand for long periods
•Some assignments may require a valid flagger certification — check with your local branch for details
Assignment length, schedule, and pay vary by project and location. Daily pay options and fast starts may be available.
