Job Overview
We are seeking hard-working, reliable, and detail-oriented Event Operations Staff to handle the heavy lifting behind the scenes. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing events to life by transforming raw spaces into spectacular venues, and then efficiently packing it all away when the curtain closes. Key Responsibilities
• Venue Setup: Unload equipment trucks and set up tables, chairs, staging, pipe-and-drape, barricades, and signage according to floor plans.
• Event Tear-Down: Efficiently dismantle event setups, pack delicate gear, and reload transport trucks safely at the conclusion of the event.
• Site Cleanup: Maintain venue cleanliness before, during, and after events by clearing debris, managing waste bins, and ensuring the space is left spotless.
• Safety & Care: Handle all company and client equipment with care to prevent damage, following all safety protocols during heavy lifting and moving.
Qualifications
• Physical Requirements: Stand and walk for long shifts, and safely lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Reliability: Punctual and dependable, especially for late-night tear-downs or early-morning setups.
• Teamwork: Able to take direction well from crew leads and work quickly alongside a team to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility: Willing to work non-traditional hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays depending on the event schedule.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
