Pricing Coordinator / Retail Pricing Specialist
HireQuest Direct is seeking a detail-oriented Pricing Coordinator for a local retail grocery client. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate pricing information throughout the store, updating point-of-sale (POS) systems, preparing promotional pricing, and ensuring customers receive accurate pricing at checkout.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update pricing information within the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
Ensure accuracy of product pricing throughout the store, including shelf tags, signage, and promotional displays.
Enter and update discount and promotional pricing as directed by management.
Verify pricing accuracy on the sales floor and promptly address discrepancies.
Work with managers and vendors to maintain customer and product pricing records.
Prepare reports related to weekly sales ads, promotions, and pricing updates.
Monitor upcoming advertising schedules and ensure pricing changes are implemented accurately and on time.
Provide excellent customer service and professional communication with customers, vendors, and team members.
Assist with cashiering, stocking merchandise, and maintaining store appearance as needed.
Perform other duties assigned by store management.
Qualifications
Previous retail, grocery, pricing, data entry, or administrative experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Basic computer and data entry skills.
Ability to organize information and maintain accurate records.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during scheduled shifts.
Day shifts and occasional weekend availability may be required.
$17.00 – $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
