Groundskeeper / Janitorial Maintenance Worker

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Pay: $20 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time

Requirements: Clean background check ( No felonies) and a clean drug screen

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Groundskeeper / Janitorial Maintenance Worker to help maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and general upkeep of an industrial facility.

This position is a combination of groundskeeping, landscaping equipment maintenance, and general janitorial duties. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping the facility clean, organized, safe, and well-maintained both inside and outside.

Responsibilities

Grounds & Landscaping

Operate commercial lawn mower to maintain grass around the facility.
Use weed eater/string trimmer and other basic landscaping equipment.
Keep grass, weeds, and general vegetation properly maintained.
Perform routine inspection and basic upkeep of landscaping equipment.
Check mower oil and perform routine oil maintenance as needed.
Inspect mower tires and other functional components to ensure equipment remains in good working condition.
Maintain and care for weed eaters, trimmers, and other groundskeeping tools.
Report equipment issues or needed repairs to management.
Keep outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of unnecessary debris.

Janitorial & Facility Cleaning

Empty and replace garbage throughout the facility, including break rooms and common areas.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and toilets.
Sweep and maintain floors and designated areas.
Clean break rooms and other common areas.
Help maintain a clean and presentable facility throughout the workday.
Perform other general cleaning and facility maintenance duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, janitorial, maintenance, or similar experience preferred.
Comfortable operating a commercial lawn mower and weed eater.
Basic understanding of equipment care and routine maintenance.
Able to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and working outdoors.
Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
