Job Description
Job Summary:
The Certified Flagger is responsible for directing and controlling the movement of vehicles and pedestrians through construction work zones. They will ensure that traffic moves safely and efficienlty while protecting workers, drivers, and the general public.
Responsibilities:
- Control and direct the movement of vehicular traffic through roadway construction sites using sign, hand, and flag signals
- Stand in position at the site and watch for road traffic to protect equipment and employees
- Ensure that proper safety equipment is worn at all times at the job sites
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid flagging certification
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Good work ethic
- Self-motivattion and committment to a culture of excellent customer service
- Reliable transportation to the job site
