Steel Ironworker

We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel Ironworker to join a professional steel erection crew in Fargo.
This is not an entry-level general labor position. Candidates must have previous hands-on experience working with structural steel, steel erection, ironwork, or a closely related trade.
What You’ll Be Doing
Erect and position structural steel members
Connect columns, beams, and girders
Bolt and align structural steel into position
Work with hoisting equipment, chains, cables, and rigging
Use hand tools, crowbars, turnbuckles, jacks, and other steel-working equipment
Read and follow blueprints, specifications, and supervisor instructions
Check vertical and horizontal alignment of steel members
Cut, bend, and weld steel as required
Load, unload, and position prefabricated steel components
Assist with structural steel erection and dismantling
Work safely and efficiently as part of a crew
What You Need
Required:
Previous steel work / structural steel / ironworker experience
Comfortable working at heights
Able to climb ladders and work on elevated steel structures
Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
Good balance, coordination, and physical ability
Able to work outdoors and in physically demanding conditions
Able to follow instructions and work effectively with a crew
Work Environment

Outdoor construction environment
Work at heights
Frequent lifting, climbing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting
Frequent use of tools and equipment
