We are currently seeking a dependable Packer to join a busy building materials operation. This position involves preparing, packaging, and loading building materials for shipment while assisting with general warehouse duties
Responsibilities
* Pack and prepare building materials for delivery and shipment
* Load and unload materials from trucks
* Verify materials and quantities before shipment
* Organize and stage products in the warehouse
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment
* Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
Requirements
* Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
* Basic math and counting skills
* Able to follow safety procedures and work instructions
* Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements
* Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials
* Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
* Ability to handle building materials and work in a warehouse environment
