Automotive Auction Driver / Vehicle Lot Attendant
We are looking for reliable and safety-focused Automotive Auction Drivers / Vehicle Lot Attendants to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving, staging, and parking vehicles throughout the auction facility while maintaining an organized lot and following all company safety procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Safely drive vehicles throughout the auction facility and designated lanes.
Stage, organize, and park vehicles according to auction schedules and management direction.
Drive vehicles through auction lanes during designated Auction Sale Days.
Transport vehicles to and from assigned locations while following all auction traffic rules and safety guidelines.
Line up vehicles in the proper sequence for auction, transport, or storage.
Relocate vehicles as needed to maintain an organized and efficient lot.
Assist in locating misplaced or “lost” vehicles throughout the auction grounds.
Conduct basic visual inspections for vehicle damage and report any concerns to management.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operating guidelines.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management or team leaders.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and light trucks.
Previous automotive, dealership, auction, valet, or lot attendant experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the workday.
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, and climb in and out of vehicles for extended periods.
Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
Hiring Requirements
Successfully pass a criminal background check.
Successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
