Machine Operator
Location: East Grand Forks, MN
Pay: $18.00–$24.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Day & Night Shifts Available
HireQuest is seeking an experienced **Machine Operator** for a local East Grand Forks company. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience who is comfortable working around automated equipment and maintaining a safe, efficient production environment.
Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery
* Feed raw materials or product into semi-automated equipment
* Monitor machines throughout the production process
* Inspect product for quality and identify defects or issues
* Perform routine testing and adjustments to equipment
* Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of machinery
* Monitor machine output and troubleshoot basic operating issues
* Maintain accurate production and activity logs
* Follow established food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
* Work closely with other production team members
Qualifications
* Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
* 2 years of machine operation experience is a plus
* Experience working with automated or high-speed machinery is beneficial
* Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
* Good attention to detail
* Reliable and safety-conscious
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Comfortable working in a production environment
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Willing to work day or night shifts
On-the-job training is available for qualified candidates who have a strong production or manufacturing background and are willing to learn.**
