Job Description
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Porter to help keep apartment communities clean, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Keep apartment grounds, common areas, hallways, and entrances clean and presentable
Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
Clean and maintain common areas, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces
Assist with moving furniture, appliances, and other materials when needed
Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs
Help prepare vacant apartments for new residents
Assist maintenance staff with various property upkeep tasks
Maintain landscaping by picking up debris, sweeping, and performing basic outdoor cleanup
Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or property damage to management
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications
Previous apartment, janitorial, maintenance, landscaping, or general labor experience preferred
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and property staff
Must be able to pass any required background or employment screening
