Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Paint Blaster to join our team in Brewton, Alabama. This position is responsible for preparing surfaces by removing paint, rust, scale, and other contaminants using blasting equipment to ensure products meet quality standards before coating or finishing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare metal and other surfaces for painting, coating, or finishing.
Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Perform routine equipment inspections and report any issues to supervisors.
Assist with other production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous blasting, industrial painting, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
