Job Description
Need to be dependable and reliable
Need for drivers license and/or reliable transportation
Ability to stand for long periods of time in all weather conditions
Valid flagger certification is required
Ability to communicate well with other flaggers and construction crew
Wear appropriate saftey gear
Set up and inspect advance warning signs, cones and barricades before shifts
Ability to direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic safely around construction zones, utility work, and road maintenance projects using stanardized signs and hand signals
Ability to have basic knowledge of the project to answer questions from the public and manage traffic delays professionally
